Excellence in Fine Arts Education
The Owasso Public Schools Fine Arts program offers students a vibrant and well-rounded creative experience designed to inspire artistic expression, build confidence, and prepare students for future opportunities in the arts. From beginning programs in the early grades to advanced high school performance and visual arts opportunities, students are encouraged to explore their talents and develop skills in music, theater, speech and debate, visual arts, media, and performance.
Known throughout the region for excellence, the nationally recognized “Pride of Owasso” band program has earned numerous honors and provides students with opportunities to perform and compete at state and national levels. Owasso’s vocal music programs consistently receive superior ratings, while the drama and speech/debate departments give students opportunities to grow in communication, creativity, collaboration, and leadership through performances and competitions. Visual arts students are encouraged to develop their artistic talents through a variety of courses and public art displays showcased throughout the school year.
Students also benefit from access to the state-of-the-art Mary Glass Performing Arts Center, which hosts concerts, theater productions, art showcases, community performances, and special events throughout the year. Whether a student’s passion is performing on stage, creating visual art, speaking competitively, or working behind the scenes in technical theater and media production, Owasso Public Schools provides meaningful opportunities for every student to discover and develop their creative potential.
